Who we are

Wellness Events Near Me (wellnesseventsnearme.com) is run by [ENTITY] ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use Wellness Events Near Me, why, who sees it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Your account. If you sign in as a host: your name, email address, sign-in records and the organizations you belong to.
• Your bookings. Your name and email, the names on your tickets, what you booked, the amounts, and refunds.
• Payments. Stripe processes card payments on the host's own Stripe account. We never see or store your full card number.
• Health screening answers. If a host asks health questions, we store your answers encrypted at rest.
• Technical data. Your IP address, used for fraud and abuse limits and kept in our security logs. Where we store it with a booking or an agreement, we store a keyed hash, not the address. We also use a cookie that records which of a host's links brought you to an event.
• Agreements. When you agree to these policies, we record which version you agreed to and when, with a hashed email and a hashed IP address.

Why we use it

• To run your booking: confirm it, send your tickets, reminders and changes, and check you in.
• To take payments through Stripe, handle refunds and prevent fraud.
• To keep the service secure and to meet legal duties.
• We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to any third-party marketing list.

Who sees it

• The host of the class you booked sees your name, email, ticket names and booking details so they can run the class.
• Health screening answers are shown only to that host's owners and managers. They are never used for marketing.
• Service providers that run parts of the service for us: Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, email delivery and bot checks, and Google if a host signs in with Google.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Health screening answers are deleted 90 days after the class date. This number is a placeholder until counsel sets it. [ATTORNEY] L4.
• Other booking and account data is kept while it is needed to run bookings, handle refunds and disputes, and meet tax and legal duties. [ATTORNEY] L4 confirm each period in the retention table.
• Deleted data can remain in database backups for up to 30 days before it is gone for good. [ATTORNEY] L4 confirm wording.

Your choices and requests

• You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at /privacy/request. We confirm by email before we act.
• Some records are kept even after a delete request, such as payment and refund records we must keep by law. Your name and email are removed from them.
• You can stop reminder emails and host messages with the link in each email.
• We do not send text messages.

Security and breaches

• Health screening answers are encrypted at rest, and access to them is logged.
• If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires. Arizona law (A.R.S. 18-552) sets a 45-day notice deadline. [ATTORNEY] L8 confirm.

Rules for hosts

• Hosts may use attendee data only to run the class it was given for.
• Hosts may not add attendees to a marketing list without the attendee's opt-in.
• Hosts must keep attendee data they download secure and tell us promptly about any breach. The host agreement has the full rules.
